The Barren Era

25 years ago, the planet that humanity had called home since time immemorial changed for the worst. Greeds and corruptions finally, in one night, changed the lust home where intelligence evolved into a barren world of deserts.

A conflict triggered by an attack of The Earth Mars Planets Republic (TEMPLAR) toward the a colony claimed by asteroid belt dominating Space Colonies Association of Independent Clusters (SACIAR) lasted five years, devastated the asteroid belt, the moon, Mars and finally, Earth itself.

SACIAR took over two TEMPLAR’s large asteroids that were their bases and catapult it to Earth and Mars each. TEPLAR was on the verge of collapsing, so their military finally did a last ditch effort to gather up their remaining war resources including warships, mobile suits, mobile armors to intercept the two asteroids.

Among those Mobile Suits are experimental mobile suits type called GUNDAM (Gradual Neurally Advancing Machine). They are prototypes of continuously evolvings system called MODER (Machine Optimum Evolution Developer). Among them are Rapier Gundams (close combat machine), Flashwind Gundams (fast attack, transformable machine), Devastator Gundams (heavy attack/artillery machine), Nifl Gundams (Stealth machine), and finally the general use, mobile weapon platform equipped Matrix Gundams.

There are each thirty of them made, of total one hundred fifty gundams. Divided into two fleets, accompanied by hundreds of mass produced mobile suits and mobile armors, they intercepted the heavily guarded asteroids.

The TEMPLAR war fleets did their best. Through sheer efforts of destruction, they were able to almost wipe out SACIAR’s war fleets and their mobile suits.

But their victories were nullified when they are unable to truly stop the asteroids. They were only able to break them apart with pieces still heading toward Earth. ]

These pieces were enough to change everything humanity knows about their world of origin.

And now a new story begins anew with humanity started a new conflict and something with malevolent intent came from the edge of the inner planets area.
